Shadowbirds Over Moonlit Plaza

"In a wide-angle, low vantage view an empty urban plaza of cracked stone tiles stretches toward a low-hanging oversized full moon centered on the horizon, shallow reflective puddles and scattered paper lanterns catching the warm late-afternoon golden light; leading lines in the tiles pull the eye to the moon while a tilted umbrella sits left-of-center in the foreground and a single store mannequin stands mid-right, half-submerged in a silvery puddle that mirrors the sky. At first it reads like a melancholy still life, then with a small, uncanny flourish the shadows refuse to stay put—peeling away from umbrella and mannequin and drifting upward to the right as translucent, bird-like silhouettes that feather and tumble through the air.
