Rooftop Lullaby at Dusk

"An empty urban rooftop stretches beneath a low, distant skyline, puddles like dull mirrors catching the soft, cool light of twilight and casting long, slightly distorted shadows across rough concrete; the scene is eerie and whimsical, a little macabre and dreamlike all at once. Off-center to the left, a solitary streetlamp leans into the composition while, slightly right-of-center, a broken umbrella hangs open like a tiny vessel, surprisingly buoyant as it cradles an old, weathered typewriter; tiny ravens perch on floating geometric orbs that orbit the lamp in a lazy circular rhythm, and the whole cluster seems to rearrange itself with a slow, uncanny deliberateness.
